Are You Disclosing Properly?

American Gem Trade Association is commited to ethical business practices within the industry, and AGTA Members have an unwavering adherence to this responsibility.  All AGTA Members annually commit themselves to the Code of Ethics and Fair Business Practices.  Click here to download your 2013 Code of Ethics and Disclosure Commitment.

All AGTA Firm Members (Wholesale Natural Gemstone & Cultured Pearl Suppliers), Colored Diamond Dealers, Estate Dealers and Manufacturers must actively demonstrate how enhancements and treatments are being disclosed.  A sample copy of one of your commercial documents (i.e., memos and/or invoices demonstrating disclosure) is needed to be in compliance. Please review the Gemstone Enhancement Codes.

*   Associated Industry Professional Members who deal in colored gemstones must submit commercial documents as well.
**Student Members do not need to submit commercial documents.
