THE AGTA PAVILION OPENS ONE DAY EARLY
The AGTA Pavilion opens and closes one day before the main JCK show. The AGTA Pavilion is open Thursday, May 29th - Monday, June 2nd. Hours are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on May 29th and from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on May 30 – June 2nd.

ON THURSDAY, MAY 29TH, 2008, THE AGTA WILL FEATURE "GEM DAY."

  • This is your opportunity to shop one day early. The AGTA GemFair™ Cultured Pearl & Jewelry Pavilion is your one-stop resource for natural colored gemstones, cultured pearls and designer jewelry.
  • The AGTA GTC Mobile Laboratory provides fast and reliable service and is conveniently located in the AGTA GemFair™ Cultured Pearl & Jewelry Pavilion. Services will include gemstone identification, gemstone origin determination, Tanzanite Grading Reports and more. Don't miss this opportunity to have your gemstones tested. The AGTA GTC Mobile Laboratory opens at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 29th.
  • Seminars will be offered focusing on color and fashion presented by industry leaders on Wednesday, May 28th and Thursday, May 29th. Hear what's new, what's hot and what's next for the jewelry industry.

AGTA GTC MOBILE LABORATORY ONSITE
The AGTA GTC will also have their Mobile Laboratory onsite providing colored gemstone identification services. AGTA GTC reports serve as a powerful sales tool for closing colored gemstone jewelry sales.

REGISTRATION FOR THE AGTA GEMFAIR™ CULTURED PEARL & JEWELRY PAVILION
AGTA GemFair™ Cultured Pearl & Jewelry Pavilion is open ONLY to qualified industry professionals who purchase WHOLESALE for the purpose of RESALE. Pre-registration ends April 28, 2008.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS & CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. If your company is listed or rated with the Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT), you are automatically qualified to attend AGTA GemFair™ Cultured Pearl & Jewelry Pavilion at The JCK Show - Las Vegas 2008.
  2. If you are in the jewelry industry but NOT listed with the JBT, AGTA will work with you to establish your credentials. For this situation you must bring the following documentation to qualify your company onsite:
    A copy of either your business license or your tax-exempt certification. Note: If these documents do not CLEARLY indicate your affiliation with the jewelry industry, ONE of the following documents MUST also be supplied before any badges can be issued:
      1. Proof of membership in a professional jewelry society or trade
          association or
      2. Written statement from an AGTA member affirming your status as a
          WHOLESALE client or
      3. Current invoices totaling $5,000 or more of fine jewelry, gemstones
          and/or precious metals bought FOR RESALE in the past year.
  3. Each buyer must provide a business card or other proof of employment with the qualified company. Other proof of employment can be a W2 form or a cancelled payroll check from that company with the employee's name on it.
  4. Each attendee must provide personal identification such as a driver's license with a photo or a passport or some other government-issued photo ID.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Registration to the AGTA GemFair™ Cultured Pearl & Jewelry Pavilion will NOT provide you entry into the JCK Show – Las Vegas exhibit hall which is only open to retailers and wholesalers whose primary business (certified by JBT listing or with required documentation) is the purchase and resale of finished jewelry.
  • Guest badges are gladly issued to family members accompanying a qualified buyer. A qualified buyer is an employee of a company authorized to purchase materials at the AGTA GemFair™ Cultured Pearl & Jewelry Pavilion.
  • Admission is not granted to individuals under the age of 14, including infants.
  • Your badge(s) is the property of JCK and is non-transferable and will be confiscated upon any attempt to transfer to another individual. There will be a fee of $100 to replace a misplaced or lost badge. Your badge will only be printed once at the Show. Please note that if you misplace your badge you are jeopardizing the security of the Show.
  • There will be no exceptions to these rules.
