Tucson

Complimentary Shuttle Service for AGTA Buyers & Exhibitors
Most AGTA Preferred Hotels are served by free shuttle service, sponsored by the Tanzanite Foundation, to and from AGTA GemFair™ at the Tucson Convention Center. Service begins at 6:30a.m. – 11:00a.m. and resumes at 3:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. Schedules will be posted in the lobby of each AGTA Preferred Hotel during the show. If you are not staying in a hotel serviced by the AGTA shuttle or the City-wide free Gem Shows Shuttle, park at a hotel that is serviced by a shuttle.


Tucson Travel and Parking Update
Getting around Tucson will be more challenging in 2009. I-10 will be closed to traffic from Prince Road to 29th St. Normal I-10 traffic will be on the service roads to the highway.

Parking at the Tucson Convention Center will be inconvenient as well. The City of Tucson has taken the parking lot "D" for their new Fire Station that is under construction. That took away 360 parking spaces from TCC.
